We are always happy to see nice people who would enjoy what we have to offer, so whether it's for a meal in our waterside pavilion, a quiet drink, to enjoy some fly fishing, or just a stroll around the lakes, why not give us a ring or just drop in and see us.

Some years ago it seemed that every time we went out, we were on a quest to find a place where you were greeted by a friendly atmosphere, where you would receive a warm welcome and could enjoy a relaxing time accompanied by good food and wine or just a casual beer at sensible prices. A place that would only admit decent like minded people, where we would be happy to bring our friends, colleagues and better halves for a quiet relaxing time or a happy social occasion. After much searching and many large taxi fares, we could not find such a place and so, many years ago now we decided to open our own calling it Halliford Mere Lakes. We now have a charming pavilion with log fires, a cosy bar and seafood restaurant nestling on the banks of our picturesque Trout Lakes and have made sure that it has become just the place we were looking for.
